How we tested
33 participants completed an 8-week clinical study, conducted by Dermaclaim, using The Preservationist followed by the study-specified sunscreen. Clinical evaluators counted facial comedones (clogged pores) at baseline, 4 weeks and 8 weeks. Reductions are compared with each participant’s baseline count. The study did not include a separate untreated group.
